Very corrupt, i mentioned in this sub only how I went to Delhi police to complain about a scam by Amazon ( don't order expensive stuff on COD ). 
The motherfucker inspector was watching reels and didn't even bother to listen to me and just said "ye to hota rehta hai". He didn't even bother to read my complaint and didn't even give any updates till now. This happened in July and it was a fraud of 1.5 Lakhs. That issue was rectified from some other channels but that day I was very disappointed.

India is becoming a lawless shithole where justice is a privilege reserved for the rich and the powerful who can shove money in people's ass and get their work done and normal citizens will keep running behind these Police officers, courts and sarkari babus.

That's why most sarkari babus or police people don't take their work seriously as they will get the same salary regardless and will be promoted regardless of whatever they do.

Without going into a long story, if you have money, you can get away with murder. Better still, the cops will arrange the murderers for you and plan the whole tailor made murder, made to order, especially those who are in anti-narcotics, special task force, crime branch and EOW. FSL forensics reports can be had to choice.

I filed a complaint related to some wrong transaction on cyber crime, after filing the complaint I was somehow able to connect with the other person and with mutual conversation they were ready to return my money. Now, I want to withdraw my complaint and not take it any further, but before I could do anything both the accounts were freezed. Since that day I've been trying to withdraw my complaint and get the accounts unfreeze. The police is not cooperating at all. Everything is clean, they just have to withdraw the complaint and send a notice to bank to open the accounts. So, I recently got my passport made, apparently there is this unwritten rule to give bribe to the officer who comes for verification, otherwise they will delay/create problem wrt to the process...


Me being me really made it professional, I managed all my documents in a very organised fashion, so there can be no issues, and hence had no intention to pay a bribe. But the culture is so ingrained that my dad made me ask him "kuch seva paani lagega sir?". Then he said " jo icha ho aapki" and I ended up paying 500. Mind it I am a student. I don't earn rn :) He had no remorse , it was so normal for him. This is one of the reason why I wanted a Passport in the first place:)

Came for passport verification and when he saw my mother is old and scared so he started to scare her more with an angry voice accusing us of submitting incomplete documents. Mum got so scared that she called the landlord to speak to him about Baksheesh.

Once when another officer came he saw my sick brother and when mum asked him if we should give him any money he said, you're already suffering so much I can't take anything from you.

Have seen both sides of Delhi Police. Once the delivery boy did the scam and they traced him recovered the item and handed it over to us. Although the ecommerce had refunded us the money but they still handed over the goods instead of returning it back to e-commerce. Recently got my passport without any issue even though there were some basic disparities in docs still they processed it the very second day of my appointment at the Passport office. One of my known people makes a complaint on eve teasing they beat the shit of that teaser.

And on the corrupt side during our house construction we have paid them 10k (we live in an unauthorised colony), one of my friends paid 5k for passport verification. During the Delhi riot investigation one of my neighbours was framed falsely and they took 50k to clear his record despite the fact he was innocent.
So you never know what they are up to.

Laws like UAPA and PMLA are designed to keep "undesirables" in jail permanently, without trial or bail. Only illiterate people think that whoever is arrested are bad guys. In reality, the police is corrupt, and the government is draconian. The prosecutor (like Tushar Mehta here) is always someone who takes orders from the government and enjoys prosecuting the powerless.

I pray whoever across the bureaucracy rejecting their bail and in whatever manner what ever levels their sleep gets disturbed "chronically" and their all chronobiology gets disturbed and haywire .
